Changelog — Information Gain
Frozen Baseline discipline. Material changes only.
Version 1.0
Published: 2026-06-06
- Initial structural baseline publication.
- Definition of information gain established as the reduction of uncertainty resulting from the acquisition, observation, or processing of information.
- Scope boundaries formalized (included / excluded).
- Structural phase model introduced (uncertainty state → information acquisition → uncertainty reduction → relevance boundary).
- Institutional reference sources documented.
- Mandatory legal, privacy, terms, and license pages implemented.
- 2026-07-22 — Added root-level llms.txt following LLMS Baseline v2.0 to provide a canonical machine-readable orientation layer for published resources.
- 2026-09-15 — Corrected the Version 1.0 changelog description to align with the published Information Gain baseline; removed an unrelated assessment/conformity model that had been included through historical baseline drift. No change to the Information Gain definition, method, scope, or structural model.
- 2026-09-27 — Removed the email property from Organization JSON-LD across the published site to align the implementation with the established portfolio governance baseline. Frontend contact information remains unchanged. No change to the domain’s semantic definition, scope, structural model, or existing JSON-LD architecture.
Status: Frozen Baseline
Change Policy
Changes are recorded only if:
- The definitional boundary materially evolves.
- A structural clarification alters conceptual framing.
- Primary institutional reference frameworks materially change.
- A compliance-relevant correction is required for accuracy.
Minor editorial, stylistic, or formatting corrections are not versioned.
Versioning Logic
Version increments follow semantic clarity rules:
- Major increment — Definitional or structural shift.
- Minor increment — Material clarification without conceptual shift.
- No increment — Editorial refinement only.
